R. Lynn Sydnor-Epps is the Senior Associate Director for Employer and Alumni Engagement at the University of Delaware Career Center. As Associate Director for Employer and Alumni Engagement, she strategically designs, complements, and expands outreach to employers and alumni, bringing increased opportunities to students and increased awareness of University of Delaware students to the marketplace. Under her leadership and collaboration with supporting departmental units, her team engages more than 650 employers on-campus annually to support hiring of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students. As a course instructor, Lynn teaches career competencies and embeds experiential learning for first-year bachelor’s students at the University of Delaware. She also served as a Career Coach for the University of Delaware College of Engineering, supporting bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral candidates. Prior to joining the University of Delaware, Lynn served as the Director of Talent Acquisition with the national non-profit organization, INROADS, and was responsible for leading talent acquisition initiatives for college students throughout the United States.  She has also held roles in Development and Admissions with private higher education institutions, Biola University and Eastern University, respectively.

Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree from Biola University and a master’s degree in Non-Profit Management from Eastern University. In 2015, she received distinction as a Fulbright Scholar with the U.S Administrators in International Education Award from the German-American Fulbright Commission. She is also an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, holding numerous committee positions.
