Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the landscape of higher education—from personalized learning pathways to automated administrative tasks and intelligent tutoring systems. As AI continues to reshape teaching, research, and institutional operations, educators and students alike are navigating a new era of possibilities and ethical considerations.

The upcoming International Dialogue on Education will feature representatives from higher education institutions in Finland, the USA, the UK, and Germany and will explore key issues related to higher education and AI, such as ensuring ethical standards through policies and training, the importance of data security, and the influence of AI on research integrity and technological sovereignty. Additional topics include using AI to optimize university administration, developing AI competencies, the challenges and opportunities of AGI progression, maintaining the independence of AI research, and minimizing manipulation risks. This panel promises comprehensive perspectives on integrating AI into higher education while addressing associated ethical and practical considerations from different cultural perspectives. Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on the promises, pitfalls, and practical implications of AI in higher education.
