DR. Jeff Zimmerman

Jeff Zimmerman is a US Fulbright Scholar to Hungary (University of Pécs) and an Associate Professor of Organizational Leadership at Northern Kentucky University (USA), where he serves as Director of the Organizational Leadership Program. He previously taught at the University of Cincinnati (USA) and the University of Klagenfurt (Austria). His research and teaching focus on organizational change and innovation, cross-cultural leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, workplace engagement, emotional intelligence, the imposter phenomenon, uncertainty, psychological safety, organizational dissent, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

As an award-winning faculty member with more than 12 years of experience teaching organizational leadership to undergraduate and graduate students at US and European universities, he has also authored 13 peer-reviewed articles and one book on the cross-cultural adjustment of expatriates. He is a member of the International Leadership Association and has presented at more than 30 national and international conferences. In addition to his research and teaching, he regularly conducts leadership training sessions for organizations in a variety of industries, including energy, healthcare, non-profit, and education.

He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Development / Group Dynamics and his MBA from the University of Klagenfurt (Austria). He holds a B.S. / B.A. from Miami University (Ohio – USA).
