Prof. Diana Beech

Prof. Diana Beech joined City St George’s, University of London in April 2025 as Director of the Finsbury Institute – the University’s new public policy hub concentrating on the big issues facing the City of London. She also serves as Assistant Vice-President (Policy & Government Affairs). Diana has held numerous high-level policy roles in government and business, including as CEO of London Higher, the representative body for London’s universities, and as Policy Adviser to 3 UK Universities and Science Ministers under the May and Johnson governments. She continues to write widely on all aspects of UK higher education and research policy.
